We covered the travertine, pulled the carpet, prepped the slab and glued the hardwood down with MAPEI Ultrabond ECO 995, right inside the stone border. Monday morning to Thursday evening, with the furniture back in place.
In the same home, the entry floor and both steps got Schluter DITRA first. Then the travertine went down on the landing, the steps and their risers.
The carpet came out of the bedrooms and the upstairs hall, and LVP went down in its place. The stairs got new treads to match the floor.
White subway tile went up around the tub, with a mosaic niche in the shower wall, and a mosaic tile floor went down across the bathroom.
